Formal invitation wording

There is a whole lot of work that usually needs to be done when creating the mood for a formal event. Perhaps one of the most important things is the formal invitation wording that is used for the occasion. One example is if you are making a formal invitation for your wedding. One of the lines that you may want to include is: “Mr. Bob Brown and Ms. Susie Queue will formally exchange vows in a ceremony of their love at United Methodist Church is Piqua, Kansas at half-past the hour of 1pm.” There are lots of other formal invitation wording ideas as well, but the whole point is to set a formal mood so that guests will not only be on their best behavior, but also will know how to dress for the event.

If you do decide to include formal invitation wording for your event, one of the important things to do would be to include the full name of the person who is the guest of honor. This is a simple thing to do, but you may be surprised at how many hosts of a formal party forget to name the guest of honor in their formal invitation wording or announcement altogether!
